Two reasons. Our costs to run a site are genuinely low, because sites are pre-built and served from an edge network rather than a server we rent per customer. And these first fifteen customers are worth more to us as proof than as revenue. We are buying case studies, testimonials and feedback, and the price reflects that.
Yes. Domain registration and renewal are not included, and cost roughly $20 a year from a registrar. We deliberately keep it that way so the domain is in your name and stays your property. We will connect it to your site for you.
Those are not part of this offer. They are separate modules and we will price them for you when they are ready. Your founding site keeps working exactly as it does whether or not you add anything later.
That is the entire point of the product. If you can write an email you can change your prices, swap a photo or add a page. If something takes you more than a few minutes to work out, we treat that as a bug in our product and fix it.
Your domain is yours and your content is yours. We will export your content and point your domain wherever you want it. There is no lock-in period because there is no ongoing contract.
We usually have a first version ready for you to review within a few business days of receiving your details. How fast it goes live after that is mostly down to how quickly you review it.
