Getting Started with the Eminence Knowledge Base
A quick orientation to how this knowledge base is organised, so you can find the guide you need for onboarding, access, and setup.
Overview
This knowledge base holds the step-by-step guides for the access and setup tasks that tend to come up while we're onboarding you or working together: creating organisations, adding team members, and connecting the platforms your project depends on.
Guides are grouped by platform in the sidebar on the left. Each one is written to stand on its own, with a quick overview of why the step matters, a numbered walkthrough, and a troubleshooting section for the things that most commonly go wrong.
Where to start
- New to working with us? Start with the Eminence OS and DNS & Domains categories. These cover the accounts and access most projects need first.
- Setting up cloud infrastructure? The Google Cloud Platform and AWS categories cover organisation setup and granting scoped access to engineers.
- Sorting out email deliverability? The Email category covers SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
- Adding a team member? Look for the "add someone to your organisation" style guide under the relevant platform's category. GitHub, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform each have one.
Troubleshooting
- Can't find a guide for your platform? Not every category has published articles yet. Ones marked "Soon" in the sidebar are on our roadmap. Contact us and we'll help directly in the meantime.
- Still stuck on a guide? Reply to your onboarding email or contact us and we'll jump on a call to do it together.
